The G1 higher pitch chanter has also won several world titles throughout the grades since its release as well as achieving Grade 1 Champion of Champions 4 years in a row whilst being played in Inveraray and District Pipe Band.

G1 Concert B♭ Chanter

The G1 Concert B♭pitch chanter has been designed by the G1 team to provide musicians with a very rich resonating sound which blends and harmonises with other instruments. The chanter is very flexible in terms of pitch , low A and can comfortably be set from 466 to 471 Hz with an impressive true register and comfortable hole spacing. Please note that some pipers and bagpipe manufacturers would call this 440 to 445hz on some tuners. This is now being played by many top musicians and is also the number one choice for pipers wishing to play along with other musicians.
