The Duncan MacRae reproduction Bagpipe is made from African Blackwood and are exact copies of the original MacRae’s played by world champion Stuart Liddell.
Your bagpipe comes with invitation ivory project mounts, engraved alloy ferrules, slides and ring caps and an imitation ivory and engraved alloy mouthpiece.
Your bagpipe will come complete with a plastic pipe chanter, synthetic drone reeds, synthetic zipper bag, bag cover and silk drone chords.
Duncan MacRae Bagpipes (SL4/ Model)
The Duncan MacRae bagpipes are exact copies of the original MacRae pipes played by world champion bagpiper Stuart Liddell.
The antique MacRae pipes were examined and measured by McCallum Bagpipes in order to craft an instrument with the sound Stuart desires. MacRae Bagpipes are also played by many accomplished pipers and are a well respected and sought after instrument.
The impressive SL4 model of MacRae Highland Bagpipe is made from African Blackwood, which undoubtedly is the most favoured choice of bagpipe throughout the piping community. African Blackwood definitely provides the instrument with stable but warm and rich tone. The SL4 model boasts both imitation ivory and of course engraved alloy.
Your bagpipe comes with:

- Engraved Alloy Ferrules, Slides and Ring Caps
- Full Imitation Ivory and Engraved alloy mouthpiece.
